We’ve got two events going on this month. First there is CiderFest on Vashon Island. Our club member Verne Johnson is helping run this event and would love to see members come over to Vashon Island for a great cider education and tasting opportunity. Of note in particular is the free education seminar at 2:00 that should be a great overview to the cider making process. So head on over for that and stick around for the tasting afterwards.

At the same time, Jay Hammond will be hosting a cider crush/pressing at his place on Vashon Island. Club members are welcome to come by and be a part of the event. See the flier later in the Press for more details. Please contact Jay if you plan to attend. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Then we’ve also got our normal joint meeting with the Alers for Octoberfest. Come down for some good food and drinks at Larry’s. Details for both of these are below.
