Wine fest is fast approaching.  I hope that all that attended last year will be able to return with more of their wines. New winemakers (and new to Winefest) can bring some of their creations to get professional feedback on their wines and perhaps win bragging rights with an engraved wine glass or blue ribbon or two.    Winefest is all about having some fun by tasting other members wines, sharing wine making stories, trying other peoples potluck recipes,  judging best recipe and judging best wine label.  In addition we get some practice in judging wines and have the opportunity to see how our wine judging stacks up against the professional judges.  This is a great opportunity to engage professional winemakers for tips on making excellent wines.  The wrap-up social on Saturday will be Kid-friendly with an activities table.  The club will provide soft drinks for the younger set.   You will enjoy the Tiki hut bar hospitality of the Butner's serving wine crafted by the BEWBC winemakers and grilled food hot off of Butner's outdoor grill.
