Education
Steve Foisie announces:
After 43 years, this will be the last year that I will be offering a fundamentals in wine making class.
The class is tentatively scheduled for late August, 2018. More details to follow
Please note that I will not be available this harvest so for the class to be successful, I will need several mentors to work with the students through the crush, press, and post fermentation analysis.
It been a fun run, but it's time to hang up the purple shoes.

You can send a message by double clicking the mentor’s highlighted name, where you’ll be directed to Messages. These club members have volunteered to help you with your winemaking questions, and there is likely at least one who lives near you.

Horse Heaven Hills Wine Tour and New Member Recruitment July 21-22:
Horse Heaven Hills Wine Growers Trail Drive and BBQ" takes place on Saturday, July 21st. Folks will meet growers and vintners at this all-day wine tasting event which culminates with a BBQ and music at a park. This is an overnight event. We will meet in Prosser Saturday late morning, with buses driving us to the various wineries, the BBQ, and then back to our hotel. The objective is to promote membership in the club while enjoying an AVA experience in the heart of wine country. There may be an incentive of some sort for attracting potential members.
The cost of the Trail Drive to members is still being worked out. The club is fortunate to have a corporate sponsor.
