2012 Winefest - Preliminaries
Friday, July 13th, 2012 - 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Greetings, it’s time to start thinking about the 2012 Winefest. This is where you get to see how your peers evaluate your wine and you get to practice judging on your fellow winemakers wine. So mark your calendars and come and judge the wine even if you are not entering a wine. You may be able to predict the 2012 best of show.
General
- We are all set for the BEWBC/BEEWBC Winefest Preliminaries
- Enter your wine by July 11th. Here is a link http://www.bewbc.org/newsletter/pcurr.pdf
- Bring your wines (Two bottles per entry) to the Tukwila Masonic Lodge
Food:
- The club will provide light snack
Activities:
- Judging each other’s wine in preparation for Winefest Finals
Payment and entry forms:
- Three dollars for each wine entered
- Make checks out to BEWBC
- Send payments and forms to Paul Woodward MS: 5C-AC
- or Dennis Campbell at 8007 Talbot Rd, Edmonds, Wa 98026.
Location and Directions:
Preliminaries will be held at a large and open Masonic Lodge meeting hall. It has hardwood floors, full kitchen, many large tables and chairs, elbowroom, easy access from I5 or Highway 99. From I-5 (Southbound)
Take Exit 156 (Interurban Ave/Tukwila)
Turn RIGHT (North-West) onto Interurban Ave S for 0.6 mi
Turn LEFT (South) onto 42nd Ave S for 0.2 mi
Turn RIGHT (West) onto S 131st St for ~175 yds
From I-5 (Northbound)
Take Exit 156 (WA-599 / Tukwila / W. Marginal Way)
Take Exit LEFT (North-West) onto Interurban Ave S for 0.4 mi
Turn LEFT (South) onto 42nd Ave S for 0.2 mi
Turn RIGHT (West) onto S 131st St for ~175 yds
