Hello fellow BEWBC Winemakers,

2024 WineFest is just around the corner on July 13th. 

This year all wines must be entered by July 5th Which Is Only 5 WEEKS Away! PLEASE ENTER YOUR WINES NOW

This letter is provided as an invitation to participate and includes important information you need to know. Entry requirements, drop off locations and POC's to name a few.   Your Board and fellow members are eager to try your wine and share theirs!

This year all wines must be entered by July 5th Which Is only 6 weeks away!  Please drop off your wines at one of our drop-off locations by July 5th.   We will not be able to accept any wines after these deadlines so please register now!  As a reminder, we are allowing wine entered in previous Winefest, even those that have won category awards. Sorry, but no previous Best in Show winners are allowed. Please take a few minutes to enter wines at the following website:  http://bewbc.org/winefest

Again, this year, we’re offering a convenient opportunity to enter your wine into the Washington State Fair Wine Competition. If you choose to enter the WA Fair competition, please drop off an additional bottle of wine along with your Winefest entry. Additional details below.

Washington State Fair – Wine Competition, September 2024 - For those interested in getting additional professional feedback on your wines, the wine competition at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup provides another opportunity. A BEWBC club member will transport our wines to Puyallup for the competition.  If you choose to enter your wine into this competition as well, please drop off an additional bottle along with your Winefest entry at one of our Drop Off Locations before July 5th Please print a copy of your online entry summary/receipt and attach to the bottle.   For more information and to register, visit:

Wine Entry Registration:
Go to http://bewbc.org/winefest and register as an entrant at the top of the page.   The rules for this year’s competition are listed on the home page.   Additional competition information including the competition categories is contained on the info tab.   Your wines must be entered in one of the following categories:

Red Wines:
Cabernet
Syrah
Merlot
Other Red (single varietal)
Red Blend

White Wines:

Chardonnay
Other White (includes blends)

Once you are registered you will be able to enter your wines by logging in and selecting “use the add an entry form (see below).  Once you have selected the style/category ignore the Specific Type, Strength, Carbonation level and Sweetness level… again this is a beer competition software.   You do need to select the Requirements for This Style on the left side to see the requirements. 

The info required is the complete list of ingredients (percentage) and vintage. Example: 75% Cabernet, 25% Merlot, 2017.  Please enter this info in the Required info box below.  You can ignore the beer specific information requested.

Once your entries are complete you can pay for your entries and then print your labels (select the labels you wish to print prior to printing).   Attach your labels to your wine bottles and drop them off prior to the deadline of July 5th.
