A tasting & discussion of wines of Spain compared to their counterparts in Washington made with the same Spanish grapes! AND club-alum Brad Sherman will pour a few of his Michael Florentino Cellars wines of Spanish Varietals (e.g. Tempranillo, Monastrell (Mouvedre), Garnacha (Grenache), Albarnino) and discuss WINEMAKING with Spanish grapes in Washington. The line-up of wines of Spain is not yet set, but is likely to include Rioja &/or Ribera del Duero, Monastrell from Jumilla, Garnacha, Albarino from Rias Biaxas/Galicia ... and my fav Priorat (blend of Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Cab Sauv & more).
AND Steve Foisie will give a short presentation about a winemaking educational meeting opportunity - basically an overview & discussion of the topic "improving wine quality" and will entertain some WINEMAKING Q&A. As always, "Ask Steve" is a very informative opportunity ... one of the special and unique benefits of being a member of this club.
Guests welcome but PLEASE RSVP - so we can make sure to have enough wine.
Charge will be $10 per person.
PLEASE RSVP BY DECEMBER 3rd: https://
