PLEASE RSVP - click on this link https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/P67GQBZ
WHEN: THURSDAY, December 6th, 7:00PM – 9:00PM
WHERE: Michael Florentino Cellars
(19501 144th Ave NE, Suite C 1200, Woodinville, WA 98072)
WHAT:
- Malbec has long history as one of the original Bordeaux blend varietals, as well as a single varietal wine in France, such as in the Cahors appellation.
- In the New World, Malbec has become best known for being THE grape of Argentina.
- Malbec has now established itself in the US, doing particularly well in our Washington state, including vineyards with Malbec available to us as club sources.
- Haynes Arnett and daughter Kyra will present a diverse line-up of Malbecs from around the world for us to taste and compare:
- Argentina
- Chile
- Cahors (France)
- Loire (France)
- and of course a few from Washington - Hopefully, there will be some discussion of Malbec WINEMAKING with those who have experience with this varietal (and maybe a wine to share)
